A Certificate of Attendance will be available online after you complete the course requirements, enabling you to register your credit with the appropriate licensing boards or associations. To apply for credit not listed below, use the procedure established by the specific organization.

Credit Designation

Physicians

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of New York Medical College and Contemporary Forums. New York Medical College is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

New York Medical College designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 19 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

In accordance with CA Assembly Bill No. 1195, conference faculty has been advised to include content related to cultural and linguistic competency in the practice of medicine within their presentations, where appropriate.

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners

Contemporary Forums is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity is approved for 19 contact hours.

Contemporary Forums is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #04516. This activity is approved for 22.8 contact hours. (CA BRN contact hour = 50 minutes)

Pharmacology Credit for Prescriptive Authority:

A maximum of 6.5 hours in pharmacology may be earned by attending this conference. Rx indicates sessions with pharmacology content. Because states' requirements vary, contact your Board of Nursing for more information.

Pharmacists

Contemporary Forums is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This conference provides 12.25 contact hours/1.225 CEUs. Statements of Credit will be available online after verifying attendance and completing a Conference Evaluation. This conference is a knowledge-based CPE activity.

Physician Assistants

The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts Category 1 CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME to grant Category 1 hours toward the Physician's Recognition Award. PAs may report up to 19 hours of credit.

Case Managers

Application has been made for continuing education credit from the Commission for Case Manager Certification.

Social Workers/Marriage, Family & Child Counselors

This conference has been approved by the Washington Chapter, National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Provider #1975-148. 19 hours available.

This course meets the qualifications for continuing education credit hours for Marriage, Family & Child Counselors and/or Licensed Clinical Social Workers as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider #PCE771. 19 hours available. 19 hours available.
